there is some truth to it, the Wirral globe site has an article saying there is trouble in birkenhead.

why would anyone rob netto's, it's only 10p for a tin of beans! Just to destruct and inconvience people 'to make waves'. Jokes and stereotyping aside- Netto in Seacombe is the place to go to buy day-to-day stuff like milk and bread. People without cars cant just 'nip up' to ASDA. Its not about 'robbing', just aimless, lawless anarchy.
