I've bought them from Waterworld, Burleydam, Sycamore Park, Carr Farm, the place opposite Carr Farm and as far away as Rivendell garden centre off the M62 at junction 7. Waterworld has been by far the most disappointing with many fish dying within a week or two. They have a 48 hour guarantee on their fish which I think is a bit daft cos if a fish dies that soon after buying it, it is down to the buyer rather than the supplier. If however, a fish dies within a month of buying it, I think that it might be down to the way the fish were reared originally, something they won't take responsibility for. It's hard to say for sure anyway. I haven't bought fish for a while but I had no trouble with fish from Burleydam or Sycamore Park, Rivendell were good too but maybe a bit far afield. They certainly had the best selection I've come across at the time which was about 18 months ago.

Carr Farm, Andy's aquatics for some kind of fish.
Waterworld is so so.
Could try the old Swimming baths, Lister Drive in Liverpool. Had some good fish from their also parts/filters etc are cheap. Don't for sre know they are still open.

There's a guy called Brian up at Wirral Bird World in Moreton ( next door to the Big House / Coach 'n' Horses pub ).
His main thing are birds - FANTASTIC!! But he's going more into aquatics now. Not sure how good or how bad but he does seem to be popular.

Same here with Waterworld, had some that have lasted well, others weren't right from day one.
Generally the smaller the fish the more they had problems, don't know if its something to do with higher turnover and getting shunted around too often/quickly.
Also had some problems with their live feed bags upsetting tanks and going cloudy for a few days - I don't know if this happens with other places as well, stopped using live feed, didn't use it often anyway.

Went back to Rivendell for a look around their fish section and it's gone down hill a bit. The goldfish tanks were cloudy and had a few dead ones in them. They had a tank with about a dozen plecs in and two of them were dead. The other stock looked really boring too, ok if you want a tank full of beige fish.

The best fish I had was off Iceland, we used to lob a depth bomb ahead of us, lower the sea boat and scoop them up, lovely supper, the proceeds of which used to go to charity. First Cod War boyo.
