up to you...if you can do it yourself and have access to another car to cut the appropriate section out from,it would seem to be an ok price. But if you are paying someone else,I think it will end up too expensive to be viable...

mite have to wait till a non runner comes up for sale. as i would have to get some one to do the welding and could turn into a mare if the boot is more warped than in the pic's?? save entering the unknown with accident damage.

1. a twin webber carbed 1.8 16v with at and mot till the end of the month on a 1995 plate but quite high miles
2. standard clio 1.8 16v 1993 average miles on clock no tax or mot
option 1 is gonna cost a bit more tho ??? im tempted by the carbs

Have to ask yaself, whys the Older car got less miles?
What sort of condition they both in?
Tbh, Id be tempted by the carbs, unless its cheaper to get the older car, and put carbs on yaself?

I had a 1994 Clio with a Weber Twin, they go like the shit (ask Scott lmao) and I took the air filter off mine haha the noise was wonderful when accelerating.
Id go for the Weber but it depends what its gonna need for the MOT?

Id go for the Weber but it depends what its gonna need for the MOT? Im pretty sure the one Pingu is looking at has a pair of twin choke webbers fitted, not a single "twin" choke carb Carbs make a lovely noise, but need a lot of specialist setting up to get good power from them - especially if its an engine designed for fuel injection - Throttle Bodies are the way forward - carbs is backwards technology, and they can give problems due to the conversion required
