I have completed my flamer kit...

I know you are all laughing..

But i am trying to fit a engine coil kill switch, to enhance the flamer. Apparently i have to find the feed wire to the coil, anyone know where i might find this, basically, i wanna press the swith to cut the coil to allow the fuel to flow then release the swith to ignight the unburnt fuel..

Please can someone help???

Feed wire to the coil will be at the coil mate, locate your coil, should have 2 smaller connections and the ht leads coming out of it, the 2 smaller connections are the feed and return to energise and de energise the coil.

Should be the same principal with reference to the feed and return ( i think ) mine runs off coils packs too, never really took much notice of them. Pic of my engine in the strut brace thread if that helps ???

As far as i know if your remove either of the 2 wires this will kill your coil because the coil will only energise if its in a closed circuit, if you remove either the feed or return, this makes it open circuit, if its the feed then it loses the feed, if its the return there is no path back for the current so the coil should stay de energised.
Try removing one of the 2 and see if the coil drops out.
Im a spark but not an auto electrician, can get my head round the simple stuff to do with cars.
