If ya not gettin insured on ya parents car & goin straight for one of your own, get a small engined car, Fiesta, Corsa, etc so it dont break ya bank, then ya can build up ya no claims discounts over the years and move on to bigger and better cars First mod, its entirely down to you, style your car the way YOU want it to look, not what other people think it should look like. Most people change the wheels first on the exterior. 6*9's and a CD headunit are usually a good starting point for interior mods Whatever you choose to do, keep us updated

worry about passing your test before you worry about what car to get get some thing cheap, 1.3 at the most to keep tax/insurance/petrol costs down, a car like a fiesta, corsa, clio etc will be cheaper to mod with them being older cars the parts for them are more readily available and there's plenty of modifying styles that you can go for etc etc

The first thing's Im doing to my interior is adding a boot install, thats because my dad says if Im good (which Is never) then he may help put money towards it. If it waas not for him then my first mods on the interior will probably be a CD head unit, New gear nob etc (All the little things count ) Too the exterior, Hopefully 17's if they will fit Like Adam said, worry about passing your test first, Good Luck for it.
