ok, ive been toying with the idea of the clear lexus light jobby for the last couple of days.
I keep on looking at the rear of my car and imaganing what it will look like with clear lights on the a*se.
The red panelling that is on the boot seems to match up nicely to the standard lights, however sum peeps think it will go well, but i have my doubts, so come on peeps.......
CLEAR.....OR NOT TO BE CLEAR?!?!

Can you colour code the red panneling?
The whole **** end of the car will look better if it is colourcoded with lexus lights on.
Personally, I aint to keen on them any more, everyone has lexus lights, i quite like new carbon effect lights or smoked lights maybe?
I am looking for an alternative for my civic but, unless i buy from the states, I am limited to the common lexus lights.

remove the whole plastic panel (if it is plastic) rub it down with some sandpaper, put a couple coats of plastic primer on, rub that down with some 1200 wet an dry paper (used wet) dry it off, apply enough thin coats of white paint for it to look good, dont let it drip an dont touch it whilst the paints wet! wait for it to dry then a couple of coats of laquer. leave it for a day or two, the laquer will of hardened then use a bit of rubbing compound on it to make it nice an smooth an give a better shine

i wouldn't mind giving you a hand with it if you want aggy? its upto you like, i can understand if you wouldn't trust me cos if i was you then i wouldn't trust me either <img border="0" alt="[laff my ass off]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions042.gif" />

Do you really need lights?
Can you have them on the parcel shelf or something?

Ok, hows this then, i got sum ideas off a "friend of a friend" last nite, the clear lights could be a go ahead if the boot was to have the pannelling taken off completley and the boot smoothed perhaps?

if you had the boot smoothed it would look swish but would cost you a fair bit more, depends on how much you've got to spend.
