This beautiful imposing building in Dock Road South, Bromborough is now a pile of rubble. Quest International had it for a long time, also known as Victoria House, Mersey Wharf etc ![[Linked Image from s0.geograph.org.uk]](http://s0.geograph.org.uk/photos/20/97/209741_c7c414fb.jpg)
There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. I used too work for UML, and one of our daily jobs was the locking up of the buildings on the Quest site. I’ve locked this building up more times than I can remember. Shame to see it demolished but then so many buildings I used to patrol have now gone.
