Are the school opening in Wirral on 1st June ?

From what I've just witnessed to a child of about 5/6 yrs, , they need to be !

I made an enquiry with another person, and the person in question is a new member in the community (about a month)of whom nobody knows anything about but has already been heard f..ing and blinding at her kids.
What I witnessed was an act of instilling fear into a child with an object.

Get these little children out of the clutches of maniacs.

But they will be back in the hands of these maniacs when school ends.

We have a new family moved in by us, foul language seems to be the order of the day, and in front of the kids, I can swear with the best of them ( oh dear I hit my thumb with a hammer) and that's not a home environment nor in general conversation, I feel so sorry for the little uns being brought up to listen and then pick it up as every day language, and so it goes on, it appears good manners and social responsibility are disappearing from society, but it does make me appreciate how my own kids and grand kids have turned out.

Think all the mums are getting stressed out but it doesn't excuse using swear words in front of kids , it goes through me when I hear usually the younger ones using horrible language to the little ones..

I know it was hot, and understand that children can be trying, he could have been winging but so far as I noted, he wasn't doing anything wrong apart from keeping his distance behind her. She had two others, one in a pram and one a toddler.
Whatever triggered her, who knows ? But she lifted the toddlers scooter up ,walked towards the child behind her and made threatening move as if she was gong to hit him over the head with it.

In my book , that is an act of cruelty and insane viciousness. I doubt she would have hit him that way in the street, but behind 4 walls who knows what goes on ?

You don't change policy on the evidence of one anecdote, dd.

On the evidence, child abuse has gone up by 5%, roughly. Rape has dropped by 40%.Violent assault by about the same.

I'm not Solomon and neither are you so we are unlikely to come up with a fair unambiguous policy, but it isn't quite as clear cut as you imply with your story.

Not really sure what your point is ? Is a child's well being strictly down to a percentage now ? There are no figures of any accuracy to make a calculation of a 5% increase in child abuse. Little children can't speak for themselves during this lockdown, can they and seldom are able to understand what child abuse is at any time ?

Basically you don't change the law on the basis of a single anecdote.

Children are hardly guaranteed to be free of abuse in schools either,

(Sorry I confused Granny with DD. Apologies to both.)
