Visibility was poor as QM2 arrived - these are the best I could get. Hopefully weather will improve.
Still good photo lovely ship. If the weather was like yesterday it would be fantastic, but I don't think it will be...
Now at the Pier Head with better visibility..
Love the design and colours they use for these ships, very classy. Sets them apart from the usually white cruisers we see. Just wish I was on one if them!
visibility very poor at New Brighton

According to AIS QE is due into Liverpool at 9:30am 25th
QV is due in at 9:40 25th
Great Pictures
Wow great perspective, as in the ferry boats and the Liver Buildings.
Its BIG !!
Davew3
I think those times are when they at at the Bar on approach to Liverpool
Approx. 3,000 people on board ! The other two have much the same. Can't imagine them being any type of 'cosy cruise', it would take 10 days to find your way around.
Good pics,at least the sun did come out
That Steam packet ferry put the size into prospective, cool pics.

I agree and thanks.
Super photos everyone, she looks great...
Thats a great picture Rudebox
My contribution
Just to add even down at sycombe ferry, managed car parks. It will be crazy parking tomorrow if your attending. Price cones along the main roads so restricted parking is happening.
Let's hope the sun pops out.

Madrob pictures Rotated.
Thanks Mark....Plusone took the pic whilst I kept Bertie entertained. Poor mutt is wondering why his 'play time' has been infiltrated...
Ah, that gorgeous evening sunshine - lovely pics! The contrast between the elegance of the QM2 and the wacky dazzle ferry is fun.
Brilliant...We went down to the front in birkenhead , by the Post Office in Pacific road, then on to Seacombe, then New Brighton for a drive and a meal....
Busy in the car park at Seacombe ferry, but quiet in Morrisons car park.....
Looking forward to tomorrow...
Your dog looks well ,rudebox..
Must have been rough water to turn you 90 degrees.
getting ready for its Australia voyage.
Great photos and thanks. Find myself working all day Monday so look forward to seeing the 3 photos. Interesting how you get a photo of the 3 if they are parallel. Good if someone has their drone out flying and filming
Great photos, well done. Looking forward to more
Amazing pictures
Thanks so much for Sharing
If you go to that feed again its a recording of the full broadcast now.
Just watched the live feed. Excellent coverage but a pity about the simpering girl on the Liverpool side; sounded as if she was presenting some children's programme. Thought I saw Rudebox in the crowd, but probably not as she didn't have a placard.
Have to admit it ,very funny comment chris ,Sorry rudebox..
We were down by the ventilation shaft at Woodside good view apart from the contraption at 12 quays & the dog was very well behaved getting lots of admirers
What a lovely photo Alan thanks for sharing.
I heard it was packed in liverpool last night .Traffic has been hectic today.
Fantastic pics. You must have a really good camera, great looking at them..
I watched them from port sunlight river park , you could see them ok but i think you needed binoculars which made it so much better. Thought the Red Arrowes were disappointing, many people missed them because they came so quick and went. Thought they would go up and down a couple of times....
Really great photos , Alan 128, the ship looks great all light up , and the fire works look fab .I was not really bothered about the 3 queens till i saw Mary last night , glad to say i saw them ,all 3 ,most people by me were also dissappointed by the red arrows , they were only 'booked ' to a fly by ,on the way to Blackpool Air Show.Starkita alot of 'well behaved dogs ' by me in Seacombe , mine went out with one of my daugthers and family, to Eastham Woods, cos she is a 'yapper'..

Well she was well behaved till we were going back to my mums & passed a couple of pubs, she headed straight for the door. She does like her alcohol usually stolen not given lol.were going back tonight for the fireworks but leaving Misty at home, she doesn't like them
Fab pics,we were by the Woodside ventilation shaft, good view of the QM2 & the Queen Vic turning round, couldn't quite see Queen Elizabeth til she moved up river & the noise when the Queen Vic dropped her anchor
Good pics there Rude, captured the atmosphere with all the crowds as well...
Thanks Star. The atmosphere WAS fab Cools, all ages present and lots of dogs too. Everybody was really friendly and helpful to each other.
Heard one little old dear asking a policeman to help her get a taxi to Greasby...adding 'but i could murder a brew first'
Yes have to say ,very good photos, sorry to have 'missed ' you and your family , i was nearer the first 'bit' with the 'steps', did derek show up ..The river was very 'busy' with various shipping vessels ,even canoe's, jet skies , land /water craft as well, good atmos ...The sun came out , in the end..
Alan / Rudebox amazing pictures thank you guys for sharing.
It did look amazing.
I kept forgetting about the fireworks lol.
The atmosphere was good were we were got a few comments on the dog & some even knew what breed she was but it makes me laugh when small kids think she's a wolf

Thanks and thanks Mark!!! LOL Me and K thought you would have gone left- we did look for you!! (Should have taken my phone). No Derek...he must have sensed that we have no bacon in,
unless he knocked and we had already left

LOL. We left Bertie at home, he would have got over-excited and jumped up at people. He is daft as a brush and wouldn't harm a fly but not everybody knows that, of course.
I knew Misty would be ok with the crowds, she loves meeting people but she's a lot calmer now,she lay down most of the time sleeping
I watched them from port sunlight river park
Was it busy? x
must say how disappointing the red arrows were!!that was a very poor show for such a big occasion.
I heard the red arrows just few past but this picture a friend posted makes up for it, I think.
I hear it was only ever going to be a fly-by as opposed to a display?! They were doing a display in Blackpool.
River festival is next month- 'we' will probably get a proper display then.

Fabulous picture!!
Not as busy as I thought it would be , but as I say without binoculars not a great view. I thought the park was lovely even swans on the lake they've got x
They only flew over as they were doing a display in Blackpool, they were in Llandudno yesterday.
No need for me to post any pictures but sorry for mooring our boat on the slipway at Priory Wharf and annoying everyone who thought they had a right to a view.
There were a few choice words pointed in our direction!
Please remember, we pay to moor our boats there.
Nice to have a chat to the guy with the drone too.
I bet tonight will be busy, again.
10pm the 3 Graces lit up
10.30pm firework display
One ship departs, too.
I'm going down again later

There was a fair number on the hill.
A couple from New Brighton..
youtube Got a fair few videos from several locations throughout the weekend (Seacombe,Woodside & Liverpool) on my channel if you fancy reliving some of the sights and sounds of the celebrations !!!
I was particularly impressed by the Amazing Graces light projection onto the Royal Liver Building ..and fireworks .. and the sheer size of the vessels ...and they can come back anytime they like .. well you get the point !!
Thanks for the quality pictures gang, I would say as expected from the Wiki tribe but I won't,
Queen Victoria is still at the Pier Head
and is due to leave around 5PM this evening.
Had to laugh with one bloke, he reckoned that all the people streaming down to the waterline reminded him of Dunkirk, especially with the little boats faffing about out there as well.
Just watched this very good...
A video I took of the fire works last night, was balanced on the railings & ended up with pins & needles in my leg
