Just letting everyone know there's been at least a 4 car pile up just after J3 heading towards clatterbridge and onto Chester. It's all down to 1 lane (outer lane) and looks like It'll be hell for a couple of hours. So allow extra time if you intend to head that way.

hope nobody is seriously injured or deceased this time. it is a bit earlier on in the motorway this time and unlike the sun playing a factor last week i feel the rain may have been an issue this week.

Doubt it.

Just had to make a run to arrowe park and all is now clear.

When I was on the way home earlier (about 4pm) there was a tonne of standing water on the motorway just past J5 Northbound, looks like that might be why.
