My hubby just went to go the gym and couldn't go, he said same road taped off and loads if police?

Yeh I just heard a burst pipe, thank god! Ah well maybe he can have a day off from the gym lol

ANOTHER burst water main. Wasn't there a bonzo burst there about 18 months ago ?

You're right, although I think it was longer ago than that; feels more like three years (wetsocks, where are you)?

FLOODING forced the evacuation of several Wirral businesses earlier today.

The deluge, at the North Cheshire Business Park in Prenton, was also threatening nearby houses as police, fire and utilities engineers battled to stem the flow from the burst 28-inch water main.

Some premises on the industrial estate, close to junction 3 of the M53, have been evacuated and others may also have to be if the flood waters can not be brought under control.

It is thought the freezing temperatures could be to blame for the bursting of the pipe.
