We watched this , 9.8m tide and a bit of westerly wind.
hey i can see my house from here, well my roof and bedroom window if i zoom in lol
i was half expecting the lighthouse to get engulfed in that video
that's the kind of weather to wrap yourself up well, go for a brisk walk along the prom blowing the cobwebs away and then return home to a delicious hot-pot that's been cooking in the oven for hours
As colo1969 will tell you, even where he was it was windy and those waves nice, I had a 184 year old fort wrapped around me with 6ft thick walls so I wasn't bothered , I had the pleasure of watching half drowned rats come out of the rocks along the causeway as I was going to the fort, two of our guys who had parked on the causeway when I told them their cars were getting a saltwater undercar wash soon came out and moved them, later on when the tide went out it was totally different day still windy but nice.
This was on ( and still is ) on our weather station.
I was down at morrisons and it was wild
Lovely photos. It was a brilliant day and i captured the moment.:)
