What are they doing around Beaufort Road (near roundabout)?Looks like they`re clearing the land for something? New supermarket or retail park? Will that house finally go..you know, the sole one with the flag on it? About time that place got cleaned up IMHO.

Hi its owned by a fella called Charlie Wright.
His parents bought the house years ago and he refuses to sell as it was his family home.
He owns plenty of property mainly in Wallasy (if I am correct) so doesn't need to sell for the money.
Good on him in my opinion I lived on Beaufort Road and we never really wanted to move at the time but were all forced out.

A park and ride? That's interesting, might get our street back once it's finished.

They are also working on something near to the roundabout at Tesco, Bidston. We frequently pass it on the bus and passengers often ask what the project is all about. One of our grandsons reckons it's a play area for kids to take their bikes and skateboards. But it would, if that's the case, be a dangerous place for kids to cross to reach it.

Anyone any idea what it's about? Not that I will ever use it.
