Afternoon all. Anyone have any idea why Wickes in Birkenhead is closed? I was there 30 mins or so ago and there was a guy in a high viz jacket directing everyone away from the carpark.

Due to the sign above the door now covering the entrance I'd say it was for safety reasons

Just been down there, the entire WICKES sign above the front door has been removed/fell down, which is a big sign as its not just the name it's the entire backing sheet it was on.

Car park is blocked off by two cars and someone's warning triangle with one of the staff stood there shivering.
