Does anybody here know about becoming a scout leader, I feel the need to help out somewhere somehow but wouldnt have a clue how to apply. Like many others I was a cubb, beaver and scout so I know how it works.

Any useful contacts would be appreciated smile

contact your local scout movement to enquire. You have to do certain quals but if it's still like it used to be you can start as a helper/leader whilst doing the course

Yer chewy, I feel the urge to meet new people etc etc, also they do productive things. Im not doing much with my social life anymore and feel this or something similar would perhaps give me better outlook.

Cheers phil, I obviously google it for a good 30minutes but couldnt really find the direct source to speak to the right people frown
