I have a medium sized pile of various stuff I want to get rid of, however I don't know where to go since it's all mixed. It's not enough to warrant hiring a skip, but it's still taking up a bit of room.

Things like old computer cases/motherboards, a CRT monitor or two, mattress etc. Pretty much things you can't even give away to people.

Is there anyway I can chuck it all in a car and (legally) dump it somewhere? Ideally for free or not for a huge amount of money at least.

Bidston or Clatterbridge collection points, you do have to put the different bits in the appropriate bins but that's recycling for you.

Cases go in metal
Motherboards can go in small electrical.
CRT Monitors go with TVs
Mattresses in general waste.

Can't remember if Bidston have small electrical but Clatterbridge certainly have, can't see Bidston not having one.

As long as you use a car there is no problem, if you use a van then you need a permit.

Hah, I actually live in Bidston but I've never heard of it. Where is it?

Make sure you go to the Public facility not the private/trade place nearby - that will cost you.

That recycling center has been there for years since I was a lad.
