A mates hubby has done one+ left her with no money+ so for two days she has been ringing for a crisis loan and cannot get through. One number for the whole of the n.west.
Apparantly this is a massive problem nationwide- a bloody disgrace.
Anyone know of alternative means of contacting them??

Yeah ive had to do one before. and i had to ring solidly for 3 hours to get through. hang up redial etc etc.

its a right nuisance, then they can still say no. glad ive only ever been in that situation once. it always seems to be smackheads there picking theres up bet they get it all the time. when a genuine decent person who is genuinly in need, they refuse.

I did a 'shift'- its enuff to have ya reaching for the paracetomol.
Contradictory messages. Press 1 for this. 2 for that and then finally, the soul destroying 'sorry. We are unable to take your call' aaaarrgh!
Maybe the smackheads werent smackheads before they rang up the crisis loan people. Lol
