Can anyone help with deleting browsing history. The ability to do so suddenly stopped.Ive tried settings,safari etc but when I go to delete history it isnt highlighted so pressing on it does nothing. Any advice welcome. Thanks

In Settings > Safari, right at the bottom 'Clear History and Website Data'.

That should clear all those dodgy websites for you.

Thanks Littlebear ,Already tried that but nothing happens at all.I think its because 'clear History & Website data' is very faint not in darker format
