It is recorded in 1881 as the home of Henry Rainford, farmer of 128 acres, 1911, Elizabeth Randles, Farmer.
The property has approximately, 10 rooms.

Map approx. 1880

There doesn't appear to be a lodge recorded, however, there was at least one other property occupied on the farm.
