Does anyone know if there is a company that collects your carpets and takes them away for cleaning rather than doing it in your house?
There used to be one in Liverpool called North West Cleaners but that was a long time ago. There is one in the London area that may be a franchise but can't find anything around here.

I think it died out because of the relatively low prices of in-situ mobile cleaners. Also it probably can only work with hessian backed carpets or similar which are in the minority these days.

I'm trying to remember the where the warehouse was in Liverpool where I used to see the carpets hanging.

Yes I agree with DD, they died out years ago. Last one I can remember was the Carpoo (spelling of that maybe wrong) on Poulton rd wallasey, but that was many years ago. It used to be behind the Rose and Crown pub, now it's just houses.

Thanks for your replies, thought it would be too good to be true to find there was somewhere. Just have to hang them up and get the jet washer on them!
