I need urgent dental treatment and cannot find a dentist tonight. The NHS helpline is useless and the hospital emergency was not much help. Can anyone help with an out-of-hours dentist. I am prepared to pay privately. New Brighton/Wallasey area. Any advice? Pain will set in soon.

Daughters a dental nurse she said ring your regular dentist or perhaps any dentist and you should get a recorded message with number to ring. Good luck. Had an abscess over a bank holiday weekend years ago and never been in so much pain. Washing with cold water alleviated pain for a bit sometimes warmth. Hope all ok

Thanks fish, did this before and had no luck. Recorded messages proved pointless as no-one replied when I left a message. No luck yet, hoping there may be something tomorrow.

Don't know about Wallasey but I have been in the past to emergency dentist in Balls Road Birkenhead/Oxton on a Saturday morning. Good luck nothing worse than toothache.
