I know the regs on installing electrical heating in bathrooms is quite onerous and requires qualified spark but not sure about a toilet. Friends have a toilet in their shop with an ante room with wash basin in. Previous electrician has fitted a double socket about 600mm above the wash basin and has an instantaneous water heater plugged into it. Was wondering if its legal to fit a fan heater with pull cord in a suitable position and have it plugged into the spare socket. Don't see it being any different as to plugging a kettle in on your worktop near the sink. If it was my own home I would be happy to do it.
