Are there any arrangements/ plans for a decent firework display at New Year Eve this year?

In the past I have been to Egremeont and seen some displays over Liverpool way and at other times at NB Fort - anything known about events for this year.

I've been digging about and nothings coming up yet.

Its not all about the clubs. . .

Maybe just get up high and watch the celebrations from private parties ??

If there are non then the recession is still here.

There are nearly always displays from Liverpool. Have a look- see if mersey ferries have put a firework cruise on....

Thought London fireworks were quite spectacular albeit the display was quite long , and there was a part two thirds through which seemed a bit repetitive. Very well choreographed though.Daren't think what the cost must have been.

On behalf of my dog, and many other dogs like her, a complete absence of fireworks would be very welcome.

My dog, a mans dog.. used to love the fireworks. We had to put him on the draining board so he could look out of the window. I always had a bonfire in my garden, it got rid of a lot of rubbish too. I would of let my dog out but the lad would of made straight for the fireworks. He loved them.

I like fireworks, my dog doesn't.
She likes eating phone charger. I don't.
I like to play the piano, she hasn't even bothered to learn.
She likes sniffing dogshit. I don't.
I like wine. She doesn't drink.
She likes to chase squirrels, I don't

I guess we resemble each other in that we respect the other's interests even when we don't share them.
