Hi,

Moving house on Saturday and have a lot of old stuff I want to dump at the end of the day, I know the local tips don't allow commercial business vehicles to enter but does this block extend to the general public in a hired van?

Do I need a permit to take rubbish to the tip?

You will need a permit if you are carrying your waste in a van, flatbed or trailer between 2-3 metres long.

Permits are free and you can apply for a permit:

On the MRWA website
