Does anyone have, or know of someone who has a sun tunnel in their roof? I'm thinking of getting one put in my landing as we have no window and if all bedroom doors are shut, it's very dark. The only way to get natural light would be a skylight in the form of a sun tunnel.
I'd be interested to know how good they are and are they worth the money or should I stay as I am and just put the lights on?

An alternative to a sun pipe would just be a rooflight in the roof and a glazed light in your landing ceiling.(need to protect it) You then get the benefit of having natural light in your roofspace if you need to go up there. All my roof space has his a glass slate and that lets in plenty of light--so a proper roofwindow would flood the light in. There is an old stained glass window in my landing ceiling.
