As above,

Can anyone recommend a local company who could help with unblocking a surface water drain on my property please? I suspect it may be caused by roots on a hedge which runs directly above the pipe.

Thanks

check out united utilities to see if its their responsibility or yours first

Thanks,

Had a look at their website and it looks like it my responsibility as it only affects my property, they will maintain a shared drain only

Have you tried drain rods? One of my neighbours has trouble with roots in the drains and drain rods do the job although it is a fairly regular job, maybe every half year or so.
I have rods you are welcome to borrow.
