Hi!to all you knowledgable Wirral folk out there. I need your help please once again. On my 1909 Birkenhead map I have located several old pubs and have managed to identify several of them, but need help with the others please all in the Chester Street area and common to St Mary's gate and Priory Housing Estate, they are located at.
The pub on the corner of Ivy Street & Chester Street
The pub on the corner of St Mary's Gate & Chester Street
The pub on the corner of St Mary's Gate & White Street
The pub on the corner of Chester Street & Lower Ivy Street on the so called triangle

All of course demolished to make way for road improvements for the Queensway Tunnel which proved fruitless and a destruction of community life in a much loved area where most of my relatives and freinds lived and worked.

Your help would be very much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Tony
