7 years to the day later... I'm a little late, but does anyone know anything about this monument to Annie Gardiner?
The Memorial to Annie Gardner on Blakeley Road by the double bend near Raby Mere, “In Memory of Annie Gardner 1907â€. Annie’s husband John Astley Gardner was a produce merchant and died later in 1913, they lived in a house called “Honiston†on Raby Drive. The house in the photo is a recent view of the ‘Honister’ on Raby Drive.

There may have been a date (19??) but this has worn away. Two sides have water fountain basins and spouts but there is no water flowing. The monument stands on the westerly side of the sharp bend in Blakeley Road, Raby, near to Raby Hall.
