Wondering if anyone knows someone who can supply and fit a pvc dome style skylight for our kitchen flat room. The last one has had its day and needs replacing.

It is a large rectangular one about 1.5m by 1m. Ideally I'm after a tradesman, not Joe Bloggs trying to earn himself a few quid.

Doesn't sound like it; "dome style".

BTW, I think you mean Velux: Velox was the trade name of a Kodak printing paper.

Thank you to you all, especially saltytom for your suggestions. I have had my new skylight fitted today courtesy of Online Roofing. He is excellent, value for money and very thorough, even cleaning up after himself. Very very highly reccommended. It is good to know we have such a high standard of local tradesmen after all!
