just got back on line yesterday after a harrowing few weeks during which I had so many viruses on my computer that i had to get rid of everything and start again from scratch

Does anyone please have a decent size ships bell I can borrow for a day on Wednesday to toll at my best friends funeral

He was a merchant navy seaman

I am quite happy to leave a sizeable cash deposit
many thanks

Try the RNA Club at Park Road East Birkenhead. I'm pretty sure that with suitable assurances in place they will lend you their portable ships (submarine) bell. Worth a try.

RNA may even be able to provide a uniformed member to help with the ceremony. British Leigon, Bless 'em, did with a flag lowering ceremony at my dad's funeral
