Does anyone know how best to dispose of empty toner cartridges from a laser printer please?

I have accumulated about six of these and am looking for a legal way of disposing of them. I have looked on the Wirral Council website and the MWDA website but cannot see any specific information.

I would be quite happy to take them to Bidston Moss tip if there is a facility to accept them, does anyone know if that is the case?

Thanks for the suggestion, I have received an on line quote from them for £19.50 +vat to collect.

I think I am looking for a cheaper (cost free) solution, there must be somewhere locally that will accept them if I drop them off

These guys seems to pay you for cartridges.

I've got a smaller printer and send them freepost to the dogs trust and they get the cash from selling them - don't know if they do that for last printers though.
