Does anyone know anywhere in wallasey where I can get passport pictures done?
Also, I need to renew my kids passports - how long does it take for renewals?
Thanks

Wallasey train station has a booth, £5 for them.

Is that Grove Road or Wallasey Village? Thanks.

There's a booth in Morrison's West Kirby - maybe one in the New Brighton branch.

Thanks guys - I just rang Asda too. I just realised their passports ran out last month!! Am hoping they will be back within 4 weeks so I don't have to pay the extra money to fast track them.

have you sent them, if not you could always go get an appoinment at the passport office in liverpool. dont go without an appointment!

I rang them and if I haven't received them 10 days before we go then I can pay the extra to fast track them but it is at their discretion in Liverpool. Just in case anybody else is reading this it is currently taking 3 weeks on the check and send at the post office.
Thanks for your help everyone. Photos are now done.

Get photos done at Asda Wallasey then after you've filled your forms in take them to the Post Office. They'll do the verification for u - take lots of ID - I got mine back in about 7 days. Hope this helps x

I went to the post office today and they told me it would take 2 - 3 weeks which is in line with what the Passport office told me yesterday. Was the 6 weeks for a brand new passport? maybe its different timings than just a renewal.

I had to buy 5 renewals last year and had them all back within 7 days smile
Don't think it makes any difference if it's a renewal or 1st time, just depends how busy they are.
