Compressor fault on train from Ellesmere port, coupled to 21.15 from Chester and moved to B/Central.All back to wtt, 1 cancellation only,E/Port restarted GREEN LANE at 21.39.
HI, dont you know? it was LEAVES on the track and further up the line it was SNOW them even further up the line it was STOLEN CABLES and them even further up the line some basta**ds NICKED some RAILS! And to top it all the replacement BUS BROKE DOWN!. who needs rail travel? .. WALK i say!. thumbsup

Psst... Wanna buy a compressor ? Got it off a mate who works on the railway. 720v DC. Should be ok on mains. Tyre inflator, fish tank aerator. Endless uses. Cash only. Buyer collects.(nr.B'head Central Station) £25. wink

I can get it on wheels for you. An extra tenner ? They're good steel wheels,about four foot eight and a half inches apart on a high quality steel axle. Will that be OK ? Gotta go - Off Topic police getting close!
