Apparently this sought after Tea Room back in the 60s later to become a restaurant has changed hands. It has been looking a bit tired and dated for several years but has still been providing a reasonable venue. The owner said he made it a contract condition that it is to remain as a restaurant (rather than just being sold off for houses.. hope the new owners can do it justice.

Had many Sunday meals there donkeys years ago. When are the new owners taking over. Do you know if it is staying the same or going up market regarding type of food and prices?

Heatherlands was knocked down some time ago, planning permission was put in for four houses in 2016. Passing today the development looks like it is nearing completion.
