Stumbled across this site of Francis Frith. A number of posts been made with reference to memories of Cathcart Street and others places. Thought it might interest some on here. Also, quite a number of names are mentioned .

Been to that site before , but Iam trying to figure out where all the other local photos are by Frith, namely the one's that Morrisons have, they don't seem to be on that site.
I agree, there are many more photographs available to view/purchase, maybe too many to show on there website just yet. They would have a catalogue, plus I imagine that many will have been published in books.

The pictures on show in Morrisons Ellesmere Port are in that book but Morrisons New Brighton are not, strange that.
