Wallasey Road 1963. That used to be a fantastic chippy on the corner in green. The queues there on a friday were amazing

Wallasey Road, Liscard 1964. On the left, that was soon to become Safeway, then more recent Wetherspoons. The shop on the left looks like a cake shop. I only ever seem to remember clothes shops there

Chippy - Burroughs?

I remember the cake shop - I used to love the little individual trifles they sold and especially the strawberry tarts with cream on top.

Chippy was N. Burrows. The queues used to stretch all the way around and out of the shop and right around the corner!

And Kyle's was a wallpaper / decorating shop, IIRC...
