Tremendous stuff. I remember mam and dad taking us to NB in the summer evenings (in the early 50s), especially if dad had had a win on the horses. Me and my kid brother would have rides on the funfair, whilst our parents would enjoy a few bottles of Mackeson stout sat outside the pub. Summers seemed so much warmer then and lasted a lot longer. Life seemed so much more relaxed. Everybody was financially in the same boat. Kids had more respect for their elders. When did it all go wrong? They have everything today but lack the simple enjoyments of life that we had then. I'm so glad I was a kid then, despite the fact that we had none of the luxuries kids take for granted today.

I would guess that the last picture is 1960's: only one man correctly dressed with a three piece suit and a hat. frown
