I've found a long forgotten booklet issued by the Birkenhead Corporation Transport Dept in 1950 called 'By Bus through the Wirral'. Dunno where or when I got it, but it has photos of various locations of interest on the Wirral, and includes the bus route numbers to get there. There are many local adverts too of companies probably long gone, and I thought might be good to post a complete scan of the booklet here.
