Superb set - thanks for posting
What a great set of pic's, thank's for posting.
brill photos anymore please
omg they are fabulous. What did they do to this beautiful place?
We have lantern slides of "the Conway" and "the Indefatigable" but nothing like this.
Thanks, wasn't sure how to do that.
Thanks for an amazing collection. So much we have seen before but these are all new to me. It must have taken a lot of effort to collect all these. Where did they come from mainly?

You took your time posting but when you did, wow! Welcome to the WikiWirral machine.
Thankyou for sharing your pics.
What a lovely place Rock/New Ferry was.
Such history there.
Great pics, used to live down by the Esplanade so brought happy memories back. Used to live in the old New Ferry Hotel, that place with the big faux castle stuck on the roof, it was the Buffs Club when I was there. Lovely.

Did it have a revolving door when it was a pub/hotel please?
If the weather is good tomorrow I will try line up some of the pictures with new pics for a "Then & Now".
Yes, I was there today and it's a shame how ran down the place has became.
Excellent pics!
At the end of the Esplanade (as far as you can walk now) there is a larger house set back different to the row you can see in the photos... any info on that?
Another postcard I've just come across
New Ferry was such a lovely place----what happened??
i remember when i was little my Nan telling me about how New Ferry used to be like a holiday resort, they would come over from Liverpool for a day out.
I also remember when i was little the crowds that would come to go to the baths and in the precinct would be packed with shoppers,we had all kinds of shops, now there's nothing, even have to go to B,head market for a piece of fish!
we had a market here too-----anyone remember that? now it's the training place.
Well done.
Fantastic pics some views I've never seen
