My grandfather was very good friends with a person who was a ship designer, he worked for Graysons, sadly i don't know anything else.
I take it that Grayson, Rollo and Clover was a later name of the company, i seem to remember that my grandfather did quite a bit of road haulage for them during the second world war.

The small dry dock 2nd from right has what looks like a paddle ferry boat in it,used irfanview to enlarge area.

Graysons Ship Repaireres, I think this was later to become the Western Ship Repairers
