Anyone remember concrete teeth at Moreton shore, to stop tanks coming ashore, in the event of an invasion, at least that's what i was told as a kid. Can't remember when they were removed.

Yes, the "Dragon's Teeth" we used to call them. On the Moreton Shore - Leasowe section. Great for playing "hide & seek" in when we were small!

I aint got a clue, and have never seen them in a book, if anyone has any photo's of them, it would be most appreciated!!

In wartime if we went to New brighton from Birkenhead by train we could see in the fields that scrap cars had been placed here and there to stop enemy aircraft from landing. A cheap solution.
