Disney opts to axe ABC1 - 26th Sep 2007 2:07pm
ABC1, the general US entertainment channel from Disney, is to close down next month.
Speculation that the channel would be pulled from Disney's lineup of UK channels started earlier this week on the Digital Spy forums after edits to various articles on Wikipedia indicated that ABC1's demise was imminent. One forum member spotted a page edit that indicated advertisers had been informed that the station would be closing in October, which has now been confirmed

its a bit stupid that there stopin it over here coz most of the programs are dead good. the channel will stop brodcastin 2day at 12pm.
i just hope they stick 8 simple rules an hope an faith on another channel coz there the programs i watch the most
