Just heard that traffic is backed up all around Poulton due to a jumper on one of the wallasey tunnel bridges. Avoid if you can.

Here is the reason
" A 27-year-old man has been taken to hospital following this afternoon's police incident.

The male who had been detained under the Mental Health Act, has been taken to Arrowe Park Hospital."

If it's the same guy why did they let him back out?

hope no-one got stuck in queue with a small hunger child in car, imagine that for hours whilst someone who clearly isn't going to kill themselves holds up and inconveniences thousands of commuters and involves police, ambulance and fire services, as if they have nothing better to do !

Care in the community for you, rather than properly funded mental health care

I know of 2 wiki people who are having to live with loved ones suffering from mind illness. Its one of the most devastating illnesses with no easy answers. Even properly funded mental health care will not solve it. Care in the community is a good solution for some.

Many with mental illness don't think they are ill and often stop taking medication which at times can have dangerous results.

Goodness me, how can anybody consider the needs of a small hunger(sic)child with a poor soul who is contemplating ending their life? No family goes out in a car without provisions for children which will be sufficient for several hours.
