Many of us who saw what happened to New Brighton
Baths, expected this to happen again but maybe not
quite so soon. Basically this development was built
outside the original High Water mark so occasionally
the sea reclaims its boundaries.

That picture of Fort Perch Rock from the hill is superb, I wonder if I can use it at the fort on a computer we use with loads of fort pictures on, up in the Marine Radio Museum in the east tower, the one with the searchlight tank on top

.....Erm, i'm actually quite offended by that. frown

My late father was torn to pieces by a giant crab in Rhyl, 1967. We used to have a memorial service every year, all the local bin men were in attendance. Unfortunately, due to the construction of Rhyl Sun Centre, we are now deprived of convenient access to his final resting place...s.

The crab was never caught, and the whole incident was covered up by local police, a spanish postman, and three members of Rhyl boy's brigade. mad

I can sympathise with you ironage. A close relative of mine drowned in an unfenced pit of High Velocity Knurl Fluid behind Neasden Tram Sheds a while back. No one cared. Life's like that I guess. The only crumb of comfort I can offer is the sure and lasting knowledge that Nurse is on her way with your meds. A stopgap measure to your problems maybe to walk through Grange Precinct at 3am, stark bollock naked, playing the accordion to some Jimmy Shand numbers, whilst singing a verse or two of Ave Maria with a traffic cone on your head. Help will surely come !
