Seacombe ferry, kid thought to have fallen into river mersey?

roving reporter at the scene. all quiet although a fire engine was just leaving. its low tide too.

It's on the globe website that it was a 3 year old girl. She was en route to arrowe park for checks

that is shocking, hope she is alright, the weather was really bad before too, maybe slippery decking caused it.

Report on 5 live said she had fallen from top deck and was washed under the jetty before being rescued by a ferry worker.

The news reports described the water as "freezing" and "icy".

No need, I'm a wild swimmer. You'll find me in the water at Leasowe up to the end of October because its around 12 degrees at the moment.
