Walking over Bidston Hill this morning only to find hoses and burnt patches.
These pictures were between the windmill and the observatory. The fire men were hanging around with out a truck when I came over again at lunch time.

It is tinder dry up there. Only the other day the thorn bushes were popping in the heat. The seed pods for a while had me fooled as they made a similar sound to tinder burning.

Does that just ignite itself due to the weather or is it arsonists?
