Does anyone know who could cut a Head Gasket for my Bradford Stationary engine. I had to take the head off because I found that the spark plug had a piece of ceramic insulation missing.
Now it starts up in clouds of white smoke then stops and the plug is wet and smelly (not petrol)
It is a plain flat head about eight inches in diameter with a water space around a central combustion chamber.
I have ordered some composite gasket material from e-bay which is described as a triple layer comprising asbestos free fibre material mechanically laminated on either side of a steel core. Cuts with shears! A gasket from any other appropriate material would do though.
