What cheek to give the building at Mann Island,Liverpool, the Carbuncle Cup Award !

Not as good as Nemesis imo....

It doesn't exactly complement the Three Graces. But, IMHO, the Mann Island redevelpoment is better than the "Cloud" thing originally proposed.

As an architect friend said "Anish Kapoor (designer of the Orbit), has a remarkable skill: he can persuade people to part with vast sums of money, with which he then produces c**p".

I like it Granny. All the steel is recycled as well.

I'd love to know what the so-called architect was smoking when he dreamed that up ! Each to their own I suppose.
