anyone no were on the wirral for shotgun shooting?

They have got a clay pigeon site in raby mere its decent been a few times and you can get your cartridges there.

I was going to suggest an area of derelict land by B'head North Station, but I'll probably get a lot of grief for that ! (See another thread)

Slap bang in the middle of wirral there is a woods and there seems to have been meets there, not been in area for years. hundreds of empty shells lying round, will dig out map and give better description

If you look at a map of the road between Storeton and Barnton, the motorway and railway line form a triangle above it, in side that area is a woods that has seen lots of shotgun shooting

The people on those shoots travel on a carrier pulled by a tractor and have beaters out.If your pockets are big enough I would think you might be on.Spider is at his shooting club tonight and might pick the thread up tomorrow.I think he normally goes Chester way.

Sealand shooting school is only about 16 miles from Birkenhead,cost around £6.00 for 27 clays plus your shells.I try to go once a month.Also some place by the two mills garage they shoot Sunday afternoon,I heard you buy you shells off him too.If I hear of any I will post it.I have a Browning 325 and a Bettinsoli both over and under 12 bore.
