As above, im looking for any decent family tent campsites within an hour of Wirral. Anybody know of any? Ive tried a few for this Saturday but they are all fully booked. Cheers all. Ev

We had a great time at Fron Farm, Hendre. Just 4 miles from Mold. Been a few times, kids have play area, walks, mini horse rides, fenced-off areas for cows and sheep. Kids actually took sheep around the campsite on leads. Owners are friendly and helpful. It is quiet and does not have any games rooms, kitchen, cafe/restaurant on site - it makes it all the more relaxing. You can smell the fresh air when you waken up. Take the barbie and enjoy being there. We loved it.

the weather isnt going to be too good now this weekend so we'll be putting it off. i'll bare those campsites in mind for a future trip.

plassey leisure park in wrexham is a good little camp site with its own little pub and indoor pool.
